Insurance coverage has been fine. I requested a ist of Physcologists within a 10 mile radius, got 42 entries of Psychiatrists. Request #2 produced a list of 16, none were valid. Company rep's explanation was "oh well, it's what we get from the Internet". My grievence has been filed.

I am a nurse and had a patient that had a knee replacement done and this sorry insurance company declined her refill on her pain medication!! Any one that’s ever had a knee replacement done knows it’s one of the most painful procedures and that prescription pain medication is an absolute necessity!! And how dare the insurance company decide what medication a patient should have or not have that is not their place that is the physicians call. I was told I needed a biobsy on my mouth early in November I called to request a referral to an oral surgeon the only one they had in the area was Brident it was a disaster from the first phone call. That's another story. I still have not had the biopsy and I called last to Wednesday to see if they could give me a provider in Dallas the person answering the phone was very sweet. Care n Care touts their "Concierge" system, but it is pretty much a joke in my experience. I get an answering service that cannot tell you when or if you will get a call back. One time I got no call back, then on another call I got an answering service again but then got a call back later. If hotels had Concierges like Care n Care does, they would go out of business. I called Care~n~Care for help on a charge I believe was not right. To pursue this charge on my own would have caused me a great deal of anxiety and grief. Constance got right on the problem. I left the conversation with complete confidence I was well-taken care of.
