l've had unfortunate circumstances to fortunately have Care Initiatives involved in the cares of both my mother and mother-in-law within the last 3 months. Old school hospice is to make the patient comfortable in their last days. Care Initiatives looks at their quality of life. Not only were they on scene the day we called them, but they gave us support with a nurse, nurse aide, social worker, religious leader, and Lyric with an amazing voice. I'm proud to work here and experience the amazing interdisciplinary approach to patient care. It's been extremely rewarding to interact with our patients and their families along with the entire employee team and dedicated volunteers.
Care initiatives did wonderful with my mom in her final days. Wish we had them involved sooner as they are there as long as a patient needs. Also wonderful support to the family and continue to check up on me a few months after losing my mom. Thank you care initiatives
