We came to visit my husband’s stepmom and the staff were very kind to Lavena and very pleasant.
My wife just checked out of the facility after about a week stay. Things went much better than another recent stay at another local care center. They were staffed much better and my wife and others patients did not have to wait very long at all when they requested assistance. In fact, on several occasions CNA's came in to check on patients even without being asked. So the service was much better. my 90 year old mother had to go for rehab after being in the hospital with covid. I was given a fairly large list of rehab centers to choose from, after careful consideration I chose Care Haven and I'm really glad I did, my mom got excellent care from a marvelous staff, they were all delightfully friendly! The center is well maintained, very clean, and my mom, who is a chronic complainer never had a a bad word to say, so if you're looking for a rehab or nursing home I highly recommend you check out Care Haven
We had an issue with getting my father released from Care Haven because the care facility he was going to was late getting there to assess my father and to have the paperwork signed by the the doctor who had already left for the day. Keli Schench stepped up and stayed past quitting time on a Friday until she was able to rectify the issue so we wouldn’t have to wait until Tuesday and be charged 500.00 a day extra. Keli went above and beyond to help us out, she is an asset to the company.
My dad was just admitted for rehab and so far everything has been good. Nurses are attentive. My dad has been here since Thursday and today everyone’s lunch was an hour late, I had to ask if they were getting fed lunch today and the nurse said they are always late with the food. Totally unacceptable.
