I was brought here when I was 13 (I'm 20 now) and my therapist was Mrs. Carlissa. Things were going well at first but it slowly got bad. She started coming to my house for our sessions and she would cut it short then go outside and speak privately with my stepmom and she would tell her everything we talked about, which she wasn't allowed to do unless what I said had something to do with me being a danger to myself/others, but I didn't know she wasn't allowed to do that at the time. As a former client, I felt the organization puts effort into your well-being but the 5 years my son spent with them did not show much progress. A bit unprofessional, this is just my opinion. As a client I was dropped without any warning, they told me in the parking lot as I was still in my truck trying to park because of an insurance they no longer accepted. unprofessional - i feel as though they don’t care would rather talk about you. Directing - fill meds where they want All I’m saying and am entitled to my own opinion.
I don’t like talking bad about people without them having a chance to defend themselves but I wouldn’t recommend coming here. In the beginning I didn’t feel that they cared what I was going through a lot, as I waited to be seen I waited 40 mins because they were all in a meeting having a fun time I could hear. THE COUNSELORS I have I feel don’t help me they just like to bring worksheets which I can do that myself.
