If I could give zero stars I would. The staff at Care Endodontics not only mislead our insurance but also mislead us into thinking that we were covered. The day of my wisdom teeth extraction procedure, I double checked and asked if I was covered. Is is after multiple phone calls where we made sure this would be covered. They said “yes.” That day I left the office they charged $250 which was more then I thought but I obliged and paid. The office itself was nice, staff was nice as well. However, I called to ensure they could handle my issue before even making an appointment. The staff member who answered the phone assured me their office could provide the necessary care for Ranulas. Come time for my appointment, the doctor tells me I need to see a different specialist. They then charged me $106 for the ~15 minutes I spent in their office. Almost feels like they told me they could help only to goad me into visiting their office. I came here on a referral from dentist and Dr. Armand and the entire staff took care of me from beginning to end. I am one of those patients who has had TERRIBLE dental experiences and I came in very anxious needing two wisdom teeth removed. I thought they would put me to sleep but the don't put you to sleep at this dental office, but they do some kind of nitro sedative that helps relax you (it will make your heart beat fast, but afterwhile it will subside). For some reason, work gets done the same day at other dentist. You go in, they run your insurance, and you pay your copay while the dental work is being done. This place on the other hand, wants you to pay full price up front. In my situation, they did a ct scan on my son and came back 2 different times with different prices. It went from 400$ to 900$. They must hate business or maybe they should move to a cheaper city. It seems Cerritos is too expensive for them. They don’t go through insurance first, they want full payment... read more
I had a good treatment experience, but when it came to billing & payment, Armando definitely hates his job. I was told to pay partially for treatment while waiting for insurance approval, and once the insurance would cover treatment the office would refund me. Definitely not the case, had treatment done over 6 weeks, still no refund, with a side of horrible customer service from Armando, not to mention he hung up the call while i was trying to sort it out. Hire new staff that actually care for patients. Unbelievable.
