Several years ago the Veterans Administration contracted with CAREs for someone to help my Mom & Dad several times a week for 2-hours periods of time. Many times no one even showed up or called to say they were not coming. And when someone did show up they usually stayed just over an hour before saying the had to go to get to their next appointment.
