Got stuck in Cardwell due to flooding and had to stay here. This was the most discusting room I’ve ever been in the bottom of the shower curtain was brown, there was toilet paper in the toilet already and the roll hadn’t been replaced. Baby cockroaches on the bed, stains on the sheets, pillows and towels. The fridge was open and off with no milk provided and for $170 for one night.
Lady at desk was Very unprofessional when arrived to check in, reception was closed and had to check in at bottle shop. Also she was drinking in front of customers. Once arrived to room we needed to turn aircon and fridge on ourselves. Upon further inspection noticed not enough plates and cutlery for 4 people which we booked a family room for 4.
