Haven’t even stepped into the place yet but had a referral from the ER on Dec 9 for a cardiologist follow up. Had to call numerous times and it took them two weeks to get me a March appt. Wow! I guess I can go back to the ER if I need treatment. So much for being proactive. The scheduling process is ridiculous at Montrose cardiologist.
Dr Lee is the best! Very knowledgeable!
Beware and go somewhere else would be my advice. A routine pacemaker placement turned into a nightmare. After 2 tries with placement Dr Lee basically said he wasn't sure what to do and sent me to Dr Garmany at Community Hospital in Grand Junction. Dr Garmany moved the pacemaker higher up in my chest and was astonished and disappointed with what he saw in the "pacemaker pocket" from the 1st and 2nd try, loose sutures and degraded leads. I cannot praise Dr. Lee and Che Pimentel, NP enough for their outstanding care. I have never felt rushed during an appointment. Both are incredibly thorough, listen to my concerns, and take time to explain all diagnoses and test results in detail. Dr. Lee and Che have both taken the extra time to do peer to peer review with my insurance company when coverage for testing they recommended for me has been initially denied. Somehow the office can’t seem to schedule correctly. My husband received a text asking him to arrive 30 minutes before his scheduled appointment. He arrived, they told him he wasn’t scheduled. It was a remote appointment. He had the text he received and showed the receptionist. She told him the computers were a problem. This has happened twice. We live 40 minutes from the clinic.
