I have been receiving good care and advice from this practice for the past nearly 13 years. Dr. Michael Silverman has been my cardiologist whom I see most of the time. He has an excellent bedside manner and the long-term experience. Most my care have been annual checkups and follow-ups, and the occasional echocardiogram. The front desk staff needs additional training in quality customer service. I’ve been a patient at this practice for over a decade and the patient forward approach appears to no longer be the standard. The medical staff are extremely professional, but that is not behavior exhibited by the front desk staff. Based on the comments, there is a consistent pattern or patient disregard. Needless to say, I’m looking for a new medical office for care.
I had a the worst experience at the front desk I have ever had in a doctor's office. As a doctor myself, I would never treat/dismiss my patients the way I was treated here. After driving around an extra 10 minutes in the parking lot, where it is often difficult to park, I arrived 6 minutes late. I was informed there was a no late policy, period and I could not be seen.
