Great location, but it's an older building so expect the quirks that go along with that. The HOA is much improved from a couple years ago and there are pretty regular improvements in amenities. No in unit washer dryer's but the shared ones they have are brand new. A Sprouts grocery store is moving in across the street and there's going to be a big condo building where the Walgreens used to be.
EDIT/UPDATE Nov. 11, 2025: I think it's time I updated my review to what has been GOOD about Cardinal House as well. Yes, it's an older building but we did find that the key to keeping out any bugs/mice from entering is having maintenance or someone come in to fill in (foam) all the hoIes around the pipes under the sink, holes in the convector boxes, bathroom pipes under sink, etc. It made a HUGE difference. No matter how clean and tidy your place is as long as there are entrances they can make their way through. No problems... read more
Great location and overall love the size of the units. The new HOA is much needed and has had great updates to the community. While it is an older building, the overall upkeep and cleanliness has been great. No issues with rodents or bugs as someone else mentioned, so may be only in their unit as we are not seeing anything. Always plenty of parking, and the pool and gym are a great bonus. As with any community you have an array of neighbors, but that comes with the territory. I HATE living here. Bldg water shutoffs every month, ants, mice, occasional roaches and water bugs. We are extremely clean and have had every possible pipe hole crack filled, even have to close drains at night. Noisy neighbors downstairs and upstairs no one uses carpet or rugs, hear stomping loud laughing, yelling, doors sliding, dropping things, rolling marble sounds, slamming, thin floors.
