I bought my gate secondhand and none of the mounting hardware was included. I reached out to Mattie at Cardinal Gates assuming it was not possible to get the missing parts, but I was quite wrong. All I did was send a picture and Mattie took care of the rest. Not only was she able to find the exact parts I needed and offer them at a reasonable cost, she also got them in the mail same day! The only person more appreciative is my two year old daughter!

I purchased a Stairway Special to keep our new puppy from running upstairs and finding things to chew. The gate was easy to install and is very high quality. We used their square bannister brackets so I wouldn’t have to screw into our bannister. The dog doesn’t like the new gate, but we sure do! This is the third Cardinal Gates product we have owned over the years and all have been great.
We bought one, then promptly bought another one. High quality, and the best locking mechanism. Can’t say enough about it.
