Visiting Vancouver before a cruise and was delighted to discover Cardero next to our hotel. Despite a user error on my end making the online reservation, the hostess and staff were kindly able to accommodate our party of 3 for dinner. We all enjoyed an amazing dinner on the patio - their signature plank salmon and their seafood linguine - both delicious. Service was incredible as was the atmosphere. A very lovely dinner in Vancouver indeed 😉
Went to Cardero's for the first time and left very happy. Started with the Korean tofu and squid, squid was the winner, tasty with a generous portion. My sablefish was the standout main of the night, miso glaze so good I almost mistook it for butter, fish melted in the mouth. Partner's grass fed tenderloin was excellent too. Lavender haze cocktail hit the spot, and the lemon ice pie with raspberry coulis was a great way to finish. All staff were courteous and respectful. Made me feel welcome the moment I walked in!
