I had a wonderful time working at C.A.R.C. I was a supervisor there working with Mitch Sullivan and helped train a crew of employees who were diagnosed with autism. Working with them helped me see myself and others in a different light. It was a very humbling experience, and it felt good teaching them to be more comfortable around others, and embrace their disabilities but at the same time realizing that regardless of their situation, there's some people that really care about them and letting them know that they are appreci... read more
I worked as a state surveyor for a few years and surveyed CARC in Carlsbad NM. I absolutely recommend this place. Although they aren’t perfect no one is..but they provide an excellent place for the mentally disabled for NM. I learned a lot from CARC and the people that live there. I was impressed….
