Before I say anything else, I want to praise my service advisor Trevor Q who has been/is conscientious, polite and helpful beyond the call of duty And that is the only nice thing I can say about Troy Subaru Service at this point. Terrible! If I could give negative stars I would. Sales person Saifar lied to me then stopped taking my calls when there was an issue. Finance never called me back and I could never get a hold of anyone after the purchase. They made a huge mistake and now are harassing me about their mess up. The car is beautiful but that has nothing to do with this business or the associates.
Really used to like this place. I have left THREE voice mails since I can never reach someone live except for a receptionist. Unless I'm buying a car. For over a month now, I have awaited a $500 credit to my credit card that was paid as a deposit before I paid for this car in full. I was told I'd see it in a week. I'm tired of patronizing responses to this review. They know how to reach me by phone and email but never do. So...
This update regarding Subaru of Troy, is cautionary. Always question them, from the moment you step onto the lot, and if you get that far, right to the financing. If you get a weird feeling about anything they tell you, or you see anything odd to you, trust your gut and leave immediately. We, unfortunately did not and have paid the price. Go in prepared with a pre-approval from your bank, know your monthly limit, get your own mechanic do an independent inspection. We’re good now, with a vehicle from DePaula Ford.
Good dealership for new, certified pre-owned, and used vehicles. After the sale, good luck getting anyone to return your calls.
