Beware of working with Carbon Recall Kalispell. Since installing my father’s solar system, no one has reached out to help him get it fully up and running. He received Permission to Operate from NorthWestern Energy weeks ago, yet the company has made zero effort to guide him through the next steps. Update 2/15/25: In my first experience with Carbon Recall I rated them 3 stars. The system itself was pretty much as expected ultimately. We had significant communication issues off and on leading up to that, and clarity on what was my responsibility vs what was their responsibility was not there. After that review, we engaged with them on a system expansion as they expressed intent to make a sincere effort to improve service and communication. Carbon Recall Kalispell has a well-earned reputation of incompetence among professional electricians and solar installers in the valley, because they are routinely being called to fix Carbon Recall messes. I learned this the hard and expensive way. I contracted with CR to install two large solar arrays. The contracts stipulated being “substantially complete” within 2 weeks.
