I can't say enough good things about Carbon! Their pride in their work is clear from the start. They're incredibly thorough, taking the time to explain everything and ensuring every task is done right. The communication was top notch, I always knew what was going on. And the quality of the workmanship? Absolutely outstanding, its running like when i drove out of the dealership. Matt got me in nice and quick for a mod plate, which was very helpful. Easy to chat with. Was particularly pleased to meet Skye, the new apprentice/greeter/guard dog/mascot.
The owner Matt is a great, trustworthy mechanic. He knows his stuff well. I have a toyota prado and his done general service, along with a stage 2 tune and a GVM upgrade due to the extra weight ive put on the car, plus a slotted Bendix brake upgrade kit. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Now days it's hard to find a decent trustworthy mechanic, but Matt holds the bar high with his quality workmanship and its hard for other mechanics to match his standard in the auto trade industry.
Had an annoying front-end noise in my GU Nissan Patrol. Took it to Matt for a check up, and he diagnosed and fixed it quickly and properly. Super professional, easy to deal with, and you can tell he really knows his stuff — especially with 4WDS. The car drives like new again and the noise is completely gone. Highly recommend Matt if you’re looking for a reliable, honest mechanic who gets the job done right!
