I went to Carbon Health Urgent Care – The Commons at Federal Way for a DOT medical exam. I waited for approximately 1½ hours, and after all that time, I was told that their system was down and they could not complete my exam. They should have informed me about the system issue much earlier instead of making me wait for that long. My time was completely wasted, and I had to make other arrangements for my DOT exam. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this location for a DOT medical exam.
The staff is always so kind and professional here. Dr Maria is the best. She is very compassionate and helpful.
I’m not sure about this place. They made me pay 150 dollars up front to see a doctor which was a huge surprise and when I asked them to explain to me why the lady behind the counter said you can call your insurance company. I didn’t understand why she couldn’t just give me a brief run down and when I asked again she said I can just refund you and you can go somewhere else. They were attentive and seeing a doctor the same day was fast and accommodating! Dr. Brandon was awesome, listened and staff was friendly and polite. You see a doctor right away and paying out of pocket was reasonable to me for what I being seen for. (Exam was included in the fee if your paying out pocket, everything else they walk you through before you have to pay)
