Disappointed doesn't describe how I feel. I've been on the waiting list 5 YEARS for a senior disabled unit. I was contacted on December 30 and asked if I still wanted to be kept on the waiting list and I told them YES. January 02 I missed a call from them because I was on the phone with a HUD Liaison (they left NO voice message) I called them right back. Chase and Cindy are the best people the housing authority has ever hired. Definitely an improvement from previous experiences with previous employees that left me kind of scared of the housing authority. Chase and Cindy both literally go above and beyond and have retained their sense of humanity, compassion and have improved my feelings about the authority all together. The management of this place doesn't care about the rules that they make you sign and plays favoritism to certain people. If I could afford to move I would be gone.
Let me clarify: For Housing Authority of Carbon County my rating is 5 stars. HOWEVER...there is an employee who is a receptionist that I am eating one star, if I could give a negative -5 stars I would. She is rude to tenants, she talks to people as though they are children, and is not professional AT ALL!! BOO! HORRIBLE EMPLOYEE!
This place is managed by a guy that doesn't know his job. Someone needs to step in and see what he's doing. He is not your advocate. Conspires with landlords rather then helping you.
