great people, jim is well tuned on his craft, A pleasant to talk with, and his wife is also very friendly .if you want old school knowlege at a reasonable price let jim rebuild your carb!
Grateful that there are still good people who are willing to explain things. Sharing their knowledge to help folks like me understand how things work. This was the 2nd time I've call Carb Junky's. The 1st time was about 5 years ago. Both times Jim took the time to make sure I got the correct parts and that I understood what I needed to do.
Not sure whats wrong with these people, most hateful people I ever delt with over the phone. I mean Jesus customer call with questions and new customers deff have questions. Screw these miserable people.
Mellisa was nice as could be their website states they are personable but after I emailed some feedback about the “ piloted reverse cut reamer” not wanting to cut properly ( because it is a standard reamer they have you chuck up backwards and is not actually made to cut on the shank end like a pull through reamer Mellisa asked me to call jim so I did ( thinking she told him I had some input) He was not expecting my call , told me to smack the reamer with a hammer and Jim was not a pleasant individual. not being a hack I had ... read more
Had them rebuild a Holley 470 truck avenger than had been poorly treated, looked like crap and fill of a bunch of trash. Looks great, have not put on vehicle yet, but expecting it to work perfect. 2nd carb in the order was for my 1942 Willys MB. Looked pretty rough when it went to them, came back looking factory fresh. Looking forward to getting it on the 4 banger.
