My son went to Roots Autism Solutions in LITH prior - horrible experience and he never developed any skills. He has only been at Caravel for a short time and already has grown so much. Make sure you do your research and find a good place for your child.
My family will always be grateful with the Caravel Crystal Lake Team, they make everything so easy. The diagnosis, the ABA therapy everything was new to us and so overwhelming but the staff is so supportive and committed and the communication is great. We have the best experience with Caravel. Staff is amazing, very professional, always helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. When our kiddo stared with Caravel talked very little to nothing, anxiety separation, no social skills, along with many other issues. With ABA therapy our kiddo now does not stop talking, very independent for age appropriate. Caravel is an amazing place for ABA therapy.
Carrie at Caravel is truly gifted when working with children on the spectrum. Her professionalism and dedication really shine through and she really helps children to overcome their anxiety and to work through their emotions. Her work with my son helped to shape him into a stand-out student that has gone on to general education with his peers. I truly believe the work done at Caravel was critical in this change.
Caravel was an in home ABA support for us for years. They provided the best service, feedback, constant training to their staff as well as to parents, and a lot of support. It’s hard to find a company that can handle severe non verbal teenagers, but Carrie was amazing and always treated our son like he was one of her own. If you’re looking for ABA this is a great company
