My son started at Caravel just after receiving a medical diagnosis at 2 years old. We were some of Caravel’s first clients in Wausau. Alyssa & Michelle went above and beyond for our family. I could not recommend a better starting point for those who feel lost navigating your child’s diagnosis (understandably so). Our family learned a ton from the BT’s and staff. Caravel was an amazing experience for my son, all of the staff was amazing to work with and everything was truly tailored to my sons needs and desires. Great communication and 1 on 1 support.
My son was 2 years old when his daycare provider thought that he would benefit from an assessment for Autism. He was assessed from May-September of 2021 and started therapy with Caravel Autism in Kimberly, WI in December 2021. When we moved to Wausau in April 2023, he was able to transfer his services to the Caravel in Rothschild. Caravel was wonderful to work with! Going into ABA Therapy 2 years ago, I did not know what to expect especially with my daughter attending daily without me there. But it’s been an amazing journey at Caravel. The most awesome staff that assisted our child to excel & helped us understand every step of the way. Thank you so much for everything!
My family and son’s experience at Caravel has been only wonderful. The initial intake and diagnosis was long but not unusual as we went through something similar with the school district when doing his IEP. They worked with our insurance company so that we didn’t really have to jump through a lot of hoops to get his support services covered.
