Two friends had recommended Carat Jewellers at Market Mall. I took a gold necklace in for repair on two of the links. It was soldered with solder not yellow gold to match my necklace. I picked it up on the 24 of December 2025. Today is January 2, 2026. And the soldered repair has broken. It was expensive and not worth it. I don't recommend them at all.
Great jewelry store they fixed my chain it was affordable and quick and it looks perfect. Its shiny as well, thank you Moogie and team I will be back for more services and jewelry pieces :)
I am very disappointed with their service and their manner. I will never visit this store again, even if it is the last place on earth for wrist watch services. My wife took my wrist watch there for a battery replacement. It was the first time that my watch was going to be open since the day it was gifted to me. My Mom was quoted $25 for one watch battery replacement or $20/watch for 3 or more. She took in 6 watches. When she went back to pick them up she was returned only 5 watches. She had a terrible time getting her 6th watch returned and had to speak to several staff members before one of them eventually “found” it. We are convinced someone wanted to steal her watch. Took a Silver pendant in to have the lazer engraving removed. Had it for 6 days. Rather than cross hatch sanding the pendant flat, it was quickly sanded in the middle causing it to be dished in the center. I could have done a better job myself with very fine grit sandpaper.
