The immediately unfriendly man at the bar asked my friend and I to leave the freaking bar because he thought her ID was fake. We are both almost 30. He was standoffish as soon as she went up for drinks, before he even looked at our IDs and I’m pretty sure he decided beforehand that we would be leaving. I felt extremely offended and like it was because we didn’t look wicked fancy or hipster like the majority of the crowd there.
