My engine light was on. They said they don’t know what’s wrong and then charged me for the inspection…
Absolutely awful mechanics. By far the worst place I've taken my car. Needed to get my cooling system inspected to see what was wrong with it and when they called me to tell me they were done, they refused to tell me what was wrong with it or an estimate on the price and told me I had to come in person. When I went in person they vaguely told me what was wrong and tried to upcharge me on the fix itself (by trying to replace the entire coolant reservoir and charge me $384.57 when just the cap was missing) and then tried to up... read more
DO NOT!!!! Bring your car here. I’ve been to many shops around Champaign Urbana & this is by far the worst one. I brought my car in because it was leaking coolant. They told me I needed a new upper & lower hose, new water pump, thermostat (which the water pump and thermostat were recently replaced) they also quoted me for a lot of other stuff that needed work and ended up totaling it up to around $4k. Very friendly staff, helped my with my car short notice!
I dropped my car off to get new brakes and they ended up calling me saying I needed 2 new tires and an alignment as well. Okay, I approved this. After picking my car up it was pulling badly to the left, which was not the case before dropping my car off so I called them and they told me to bring it back in. When I brought it back in they stated I would need an alignment. I questioned this, as I had been told the day prior that I had already received an alignment and I was charged for the alignment.
