I went to Car-X on Saturday to purchase four brand-new tires. Unfortunately, when I woke up Sunday morning, one of my tires was completely flat. I had to take the tire back on Monday, only to find out that the valve stem was leaking. While I appreciate that they fixed the issue, this was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. Hands down the best team I’ve met in Champaign since moving here! Donald and Ben are incredible. Genuinely nice, gentle, and humble gentlemen who know how to treat people right. Even though my car inspection was completely free, they treated me like royalty from the moment I walked in. They inspection my car quickly as i explained. I can't recommend them highly enough. Booked an appointment for an oil change, only to show up and be told that they don’t have my oil filter on hand and would have to up charge me to get it in, even though the oil filter is supposed to be included in the price of the oil change
Worst Mechanic Experience of my life. ridiculous unaffordable cost, issuing an ultimatum giving me less than a day to decide if I want service or charge a daily fee to store my car on the lot. Customer service was horrible too. The guy could not adequately explain what was broken with my resonator and catalytic converter or how my drive shaft broke.
