They have a call center answering the phone. Tried to make an oil change appt with a coupon and the girl couldn't understand English and after 7+ mins transferred me to the shop. Tony rambled on and on there may be all these extra fees over the already jacked up price from $29.99 (coupon) real price of $44 but may be more (already price increase of 34%). OMG this place is soooo awful after Herb left. They can't get any good mechanics or front staff. Run away.
Stay away from them. They did tire installation for me and the vehicle immediately started shaking but now they won't honor the installation and want extra fees to fix it. I would never do any business with Car X Auto ever with the experience I had from this Eagan Location. The manager/auto technician Tony does not have a decent customer service skill and seems always in bad mood and does not answer the basic questions easily and tries to avoid it. Absolutely outstanding service! I’m still amazed that this shop replaced all four tires on my Cadillac in under 28 minutes. Not only were they incredibly fast, but the professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail were top-tier from start to finish. They treated my vehicle with care, kept everything organized, and had me safely back on the road before I could even finish relaxing in the waiting area. Went there this morning for my check engine light and a problem with my catalytic converter. Spoke to Josh. He was SUPER kind, helpful, and honest, and helped me find a solution that fixed my car without breaking the bank. I HIGHLY recommend CarX, and specifically Josh, if you're looking for a kind, honest, and helpful mechanic who operates in integrity and cares about you, your vehicle, and your wallet. My car started acting up. Killed out on me when I tried to drive it, I called this place. The rep said she would see when the next available appt was. I was so happy when she said they could get me in at 5:30pm. Mind you it was 4pm on a Saturday. When I got to the shop, they were closed. Nobody here. Hours online say 6.
