They’re honest, friendly and have always done good work! I’ve been taking my car here for maintenance work and the occasional light repairs for 25+ years and I’ve Never had any problems or complaints. Prices are fairly reasonable and competitive compared to other shops that do similar work. I will continue to bring my vehicles to this location for most of my maintenance and light repair work for the foreseeable future and I would and have recommended them to my friends and family.
I can't say enough good things about Mike and this Car X. We used to live in Wheaton, and we would take our car to this Car X in Glen Ellyn. We moved over a year ago 65 miles away. And yet, I find that the most trustworthy accurate diagnosis has come from Mike here at Car X in Glen Ellyn. I’ve been to the Glen Ellyn Car-X several times now for everything from oil changes and brakes to steering and suspension repairs, and I’ve had a great experience every time. Everyone is friendly, helpful, and easy to work with. I especially appreciate that they actually show me the part that needs to be replaced and explain what’s wrong, so I never have to worry about being talked into unnecessary repairs or being scammed. I was far from home and suddenly had not one, but two nails stuck in my tire!! Mike and his team were amazingly helpful and put my spare on for me (since they didn’t carry my tire in the store) so I could make it back home! Couldn’t be more appreciative of their help!
