I got all four tires replaced on my recently purchased vehicle. It took them a little over an hour, exactly how long they told me it would take to replace them. They were very friendly and I knew I could trust my car in their hands. A plus was that they let you bring your own tires in and they only charge you for the installation labor.
I had another GREAT experience at CarX (Glen Ellyn, IL) yesterday. I usually deal with Mike. He's a straight shooter, explains car issues clearly, gives the price up front, applies coupons/discounts (where possible) and stands by his work. He is a genuine and good guy to deal with. Yesterday I needed a new battery (the darned thing just died without warning). The roadside assistance guy offered to install a new battery for $245 (3 year warranty). I stopped in Glen Ellyn during a cross country roadtrip and noticed my vehicle was leaking oil. Family in the area recommended Mike and his crew at Car-X. They diagnosed the issue promptly and since it was a simple adjustment of the oil filter, they did not charge for labor and got me back on the road quickly. Much appreciated! Clean place, great service.
These guys worked so hard on my car!! Update: Mike is still awesome!! Thanks to the techs who do a wonderful job. Kudos to everyone getting their hands dirty to keep us going.
