There’s a reason why this rental office has bad reviews. They hit you with all these crazy hidden fees. Stick to the Big rental companies. Also be aware of the Minor cleaning fee of $250.
Very inflexible. Tried to change the date that I brought the car back in. And they tripled the price.
Not a good experience. Stick with the known companies. The car I reserved online was not what I received, they tried to push the additional coverage even after stating I didn't want it. I have never been asked for proof of insurance (with the larger companies) and they were insistent until I almost cancelled. I should have cancelled!! Booked a car for 5pm and they said I would have to wait for the previous renter to return the car which could be as late as 6pm. Their only solution to leave on time was to upgrade my car for $25/day. Poor customer service, poor company policies. Do not rent from this place
We had a bit of a weird experience at the outset. We were unexpectedly redirected to Car Rental Cafe by Fox Car Rental at San Diego Airport. We had a standing 2-month reservation [January-February 2025] with Fox. Upon arrival at Fox we were shoveled off to this off airport property rental car company, Car Rental Cafe in Little Italy. Shuttle service was provided. Not sure of the business relationship between Fox and Car Rental Cafe, but the way we were redirected by Fox was weird. That’s another story.
