After much research, I donated our old car to Habitat for Humanity. It was a good decision. It was an easy process from beginning to end because the directions were clear and organized with quick communication back when I had a question. Through my research I also found that a larger percentage of the money they raise goes directly back to the organization. I was very happy with them and highly recommend using them next time you have a car to donate.

All went smoothly! Excellent communication with NPR, and the organization responsible for towing the vehicle. Vehicle was towed timely and as scheduled. Donation paperwork arrived immediately. This was a hassle-free experience, and for a wonderful cause. WDET/NPR is the ONLY radio station I ever listen to!
My 1988 Suburban is a commercial grade 3/4 ton. It has a 8000 lb dry curb weight. A heavy duty transmission and differential. This was a South Carolina vehicle up to 2014 or 2015. Although it has been near the New England Seashore since then, the body is in fair to good condition. Underbody is in excellent condition.
