This guy is a grifter. In the same breath, he wants to replace my brake pads while also saying they have over half their life left. He also claimed my loud idle is due to a worn suspension. If he actually looked at it, he would have noticed every part of the suspension is brand new (replaced 2 weeks ago). When I told him, he was surprised and started making up some BS.
These guys are so helpful and nice even if the quote is so expensive to have my splash shield replace I guess that is my fault not theirs
I really hate to do this because they were timely and responsive and I’m specifically looking for a local Oakland shop I can support. I came in for an oil change. Paying $59 for an unwanted inspection aside, I filled up my washer fluid about a month ago and these guys decided to ‘top it off’ today without asking me. It’s not about the $3, it about the jiving
