I brought my vehicle in for one reason: to diagnose and fix a transmission noise. I made that crystal clear from the very beginning. Instead of fixing the problem I actually came in for, I was told the noise was coming from the power steering pump. Then I was told I also needed a valve cover gasket replacement and a rack and pinion replacement. I trusted their supposed diagnosis and authorized the repairs.
