I really wanted to support a local shop, but this just didnt work out. Took my car in for what should’ve been a simple fix. They gave me a vague estiimate and then charged way more when i came to pick it up. No clear explanation, and now my check engine light is still on. Disappointed, won’t be returning.
Had previous work done in my Jetta there. No issues, BUT Recommended my Son go there to buy a good used car-Bot that was a HUGE MiSTAKE!! This Guy is a Joke! Told my son and I both catches a new rebuilt transmission put in and after my son pays 2000$ ( owner insists CASH) for this Ford Focus, drive away. Next Day drive to work with loud noises and stalling in traffic ! Needed new Starter , my son had my sisters mechanic install it. No problems. Do not take your vehicle here or buy a car from Calvin. If the other 1 star reviews aren't a good enough warning, take this one. I was in a bad spot with an unsafe, falling apart car when I went here to buy a car due to a recommendation from a family member's coworker. I took the only 2 grand i had left out of my 401k to buy the car, which seemed to be in pretty good condition. Turns out the car got the good old "landlord special" treatment at his shop. The worst place ever ,they don't know anything about cars ,they messed up my car and asked for more money,I don't recommend them at all.
Had my 2012 Nissan repaired here for a engine replacement and headlights as well. Owner has communicated with me and I was able to make payments on the repairs. The staff never disrespected me when I needed something looked at I was concerned about. I appreciate their services.
