John, Johnathan, and Nora are awesome people who have made my experience with upgrading my full surround sound system, 2 12 inch subs, 5 channel amp, and new Sony display as well as a rear back up camera in my Ram 1500 a great experience. Brought in my 2018 ram for a uconnect touch screen replacement and they were all so polite and professional. They quoted me a few weeks back and it was spot on to the quote without being pushy or trying to get me into anything I didn’t need. You can tell they’re honest and passionate about what they do and they got me in on my appointment window and had me finished earlier than expected. I have had them do a couple vehicles for me and I’m happy with them adding lights to my truck, but NOT happy with the upgrade to the deck on my BMW. The rear camera works great but the Bluetooth call quality is unusable. I have taken it back twice but still the same issue. Pure static and no intelligible voice from the call. I’m in the market for a new head unit on a third vehicle and will be looking elsewhere.
What I like most about Johnathan and the crew at Car Audio Engineers is their integrity. We took my wife’s car there to troubleshoot a speaker issue. Rather than upsell us on a new set of speakers, they were able to isolate the issue and fix it without us spending a fortune on it. Similarly, after they installed a dashcam that I had issues with, they swapped it out for a different model.
