We had a large project and were trying to get ready for our home to be included in the Modern Atlanta home tour. We met with Matt Johnson, who is the owner, and he spent a good amount of time meeting with us to discuss design and install for our front and back yards. We had sod installed in the backyard, irrigation, lighting, and a fountain and some ornamental plants. The backyard looks beautiful, but was primarily based on our design. Matt’s crew did a good job. Captive Landscapes? One of their trucks was speeding through an Atlanta side street and recklessly plowed over the neighborhood basketball hoop. The driver just kept on going as the basketball hoop crashed to the ground. The Captive Landscapes owner, Matt, has ignored all attempts to be friendly and reasonable in resolving the matter - he wouldn’t even offer an apology. Captive Landscapes is not the type of business that I would work with for any project.
Captive has done a few big projects for us. They also do our weekly maintenance. We’ve always been very happy with everything that they’ve done.
