Capterra appears to be filtering out negative reviews for their paid clients (the software companies). I submitted a negative review for one of the software companies that hired them. The software company flagged the review, so I then provided documentation showing I was a current customer (and I provided emails proving they offered to pay me for a review 4 times). Capterra is a complete scam. They don't allow true reviews, they only keep reviews that further their agenda/deal with the business they are promoting. It's completely untrustworthy as a resource.

Save your money, Capterra produces no leads, all you will get is another way for competitors to drive up your ad spend.

I went through a link to Capterra where Capterra offered me a 10$ Gift Card for a published review. I wrote a detailed and honest review about a software I used and the review got published on Capterra. When I click on the "i" button below my review, it says "No Incentive Offered: This review was submitted organically" which is not true at all. I submitted the review for a 10$ gift card which I didn't receive.

Folllwed a referal URL that pays out for $10/review. I did 4 in a row with the link, and they only paid out $5. It's been a month and nothing. I believe they lure people in to write reviews and pay them at first, than not at all. That's their tactic to get reviews for free, and than they tell you it's undergoing moderation or you didn't follow a referral UTM url even if you do.

Stole our funds and said we owed them for a fake lead. What a joke.

This company is fraudulent and consistently terrible. They bombard you with emails requesting that you take their reviews and once you have been active for a few months, they refuse to pay out. They have an unreachable live costumer care team and their robo email responses are absolutely ridiculous. Capterra currently owes me $80 and they have taken the stance to ignore my communications and requests for help. This company needs to be shut down.

Our records indicate that you have been paid out for all published reviews connected to an email campaign. Any published reviews which were not connected to an incentive campaign are not owed any incentive.

These people are lying thieves. They promised payment for honest reviews and they came back saying I would not be paid because they were fraudulent? Do not waste your time with this company.

This is a worst company which has no respect for professionals time spent in writing reviews and there is no transparency in tracking the reviews submitted and rewards. They manufacture artificial reasons to deny the claims. For example they told me that I donated one bonus to some charity when I never did so. They also denied my other review bonus giving vague reasons. They don't even care about BBB as when I told that I will reach BBB, they didn't even respond.
