I was sent to this hotel from my previous hotel because my reservation was messed up online. When I got there Marie met me in the local and was smiling away from her smile to my room to my to my housekeeping department to maintenance everyone was phenomenal. They are going to reservations right now but don't let that stop you the rooms are amazing spacious and very clean. Service at the front desk horrible, we were given wrong information and were told we needed to wait till next day to get a refund, and when we went the next day they told us we were misinformed and could not get our money back. We were also given the wrong room not the one we had booked and when we went to ask for our original room they said it was the one we were in but the layout provided on the website was not the same one and had to book another room wasting more money even after we provided the room details we had recei... read more

We found Captain's Quarters years ago. It is now our go-to when we go to Myrtle Beach. Our room is always clean and the staff is always very friendly and helpful. The pools are always clean and the hot tub is hot! There is nothing better than looking at and listening to the ocean from your private balcony. Although they are currently under construction, there is usually a free game of bowling everyday when you stay. I definitely recommend staying at Captain's Quarters in Myrtle Beach.

You can tell they tried to update our room, but it was very much putting lipstick on a pig… that’s putting it nicely. Kitchen was functional. The tub did not drain well and there was mystery hair from the drain when I was bathing my son. They did not do daily room service and the towels (beach and bath) were barely able to go around my husband 30inch waist. Windows were very thin so we could hear everything outside so clearly. I stayed at this hotel on May 2, 2026 and this Hotel is a rip off, they did not have most of the amenities listed. I selected this hotel specifically for the supposedly water park area for the kids and the bowling alley. Only to discover they did not have either of the two as promoted and advertised online. I reach out to the front desk and the lady told me the bowling alley had been closed down for about 3 years now. Which is more than enough time to have the website for marketing updated.
