Great Fish and Chips. First place my wife is liked in a while. She had British family so she is a bit of a fish and Chips snob. Definitely a place worth checking out!
I dunno... I must have went to a different place than most other reviews... Same address though... Spent $24.00 for a thin piece of halibut and a few chips in a small box and 2 pop... Halibut was pretty dry and resembled more of a piece of haddock straight out of the High Liner box... The guy who served me was friendly... But with the reviews and pictures I saw - I totally was expecting a far superior dinner than what I got... Nothing to drive back for - for that price Halibut House is a "Halibut" of a better choice. Update. Well gave it another chance ( could been a one off) I will admit it was better but still felt the fish was small but good ( but crispy this time) Large amount of fries, but the taste is off. Maybe where it’s late and oil is older…. But some were hard and taste is not my liking. Over all I gave a 3 star mainly for trying. I appreciate the effort.
