Great restaurant on the water Great little restaurant. Exactly what we were looking for. We came in by boat after playing around out on the Potamac. For appetizer, we had crab, cheese and garlic on some very fresh pieces of toasted bread. For lunch we had a crab cake sandwich and a flounder sandwich. The wait staff regularly came around to fill our drinks and check on us. The view on to the water was great. All of the food we saw others eating (rock fish, steamed crabs, shrimp) looked great too!
seafood heaven the food is ok. the crabs are probably one of the best on the menu and from what i hear the oysters are pretty good too
Captain John's Crab House Captain John's is one of those rare finds that you really have to look for. It's located on Cobb Island in southern Maryland right on the Potomac River. Go there for the delicious seafood and crabs and then take a tour of the delightful town. The prices are fair and the service is excellent.
