I gave 5 stars because the product is delisious. Unfortunately, I purchased 6 cans of smoked salmon, while on vacation in Alaska in the middle of June, and paid to have it shipped to my home. It has yet to a arrive a month later!!
Excellent and fast service.
After our original fishing charter was cancelled due to weather, all the fish processing businesses closed for the end of season. Or charter was rescheduled for the day we were leaving. Captain Jack’s was available “on-call” and quickly processed our catch and packaged it into an airline approved box so we were able to take it with us a couple hours later - all for about $55. The airline actually let us check it for free too- it worked out perfectly and I can’t thank Wendy enough.
UPDATE: Can't find the button to post my second review, so I will just add to my original. Received another 10 lb box of sockeye salmon 10 minutes ago, still nicely frozen and very well vacuumed sealed. I now have 30 lbs in my freezer and about 1/3 I will smoke and freeze. Wendy did an outstanding job of taking care of my order and she also provides excellent customer support and service. Excellent packaging, quality insulated box for shipping/airport checked baggage, and easy to do business with. Flying it home with you is much cheaper than shipping it and Captain Jacks is the best option in the town of Seward! They were flexible in how we wanted our fish packages to accommodate three anglers. They work with the local guides to make the cleaning and packaging super accommodating when you get back to the docks. They are friendly and make good experiences recommendations.
