UPDATE: Can't find the button to post my second review, so I will just add to my original. Received another 10 lb box of sockeye salmon 10 minutes ago, still nicely frozen and very well vacuumed sealed. I now have 30 lbs in my freezer and about 1/3 I will smoke and freeze. Wendy did an outstanding job of taking care of my order and she also provides excellent customer support and service. Excellent packaging, quality insulated box for shipping/airport checked baggage, and easy to do business with. Flying it home with you is much cheaper than shipping it and Captain Jacks is the best option in the town of Seward! They were flexible in how we wanted our fish packages to accommodate three anglers. They work with the local guides to make the cleaning and packaging super accommodating when you get back to the docks. They are friendly and make good experiences recommendations. We just received our frozen salmon that was prepared by Captain Jack's. I was very impressed with the way it was beautifully packed. Well worth the money we spent for packing and shipping.
Captain Jack's is incredible! We had a charter out of Seward and caught loads of fish. Our guide filleted our fish and delivered it to Captain Jack's right on the dock. We filled out the information and in minutes were on our way. A few days later, on the appointed delivery day, our fish arrived frozen solid and packaged in perfect portion sizes.
