At our Lincolnton, NC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

It was good before it closed!
Baked potato was cold cheese was nasty. It went into the garbage after 2 bites.
The thing that made my experience on the positive side was the extremely nice cashiers. The cook did a great job also! The only reason I gave food four stars instead of five is I wish that all Captain D's would have smaller fish served by the ounces with Southern style cornmeal breading. Not sure what kind of fish it is but it's thick enough and 5 oz comes on a meal which is about 8 to 10 small fish fillets. They also have an option where you can buy just fish in 8 oz servings.
