I always get the regular fish (cod). This time I thought I would try the catfish. It came in huge nuggets rather than a long piece of fish like it looks in the picture on the menu. More importantly it did not taste near as good as I thought it would. Idk if its the breading or the fish being too "fishy" and without flavor. The shrimp, hush puppies, fries, and broccoli was all good. Over $10 for a 2 piece catfish that was 4 nuggets, is kinda high.

Go ahead and call the wrecking crew in. It was dead when we walked in and had to wait and wait for somebody to notice. The only reason they did was because another customer hollered to them in the back. The food was ready as soon as we ordered, even though they were dead when we walked in. I looked at my wife and said, “I bet this is disgusting.” And boy, the one time I wish I was wrong. I had to spit out the last shrimp I tried to eat. It all tasted microwaved and old. Really loved the atmosphere! 🤩 I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for an old-school restaurant vibe. Everything was clean, the napkins on the tables were convenient, and they had country music playing. The food was delicious, and the service was fast! 👍🏼 Thanks to the staff! (8/16/2026)❤️
