At our Logan, WV location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Not bad for a captain D's. Biggest downfall was flies in the dining area
If I could give zero stars I would. I stopped in tonight and there was no one inside the restaurant. All the employees were out the back door smoking. The kitchen was nasty. I stood there at the counter for 10 minutes waiting for a worker to come in. No one ever showed. After seeing a rat run across the kitchen floor I decided to leave. I saw all the employees at the drive through standing around on their phones smoking and laughing.
The food was okay. The service was terrible. The cashier showed her absolute annoyance at me for asking about sides. I had overlooked the sign and she huffed while she pointed it out, dryly saying that "it's right there". I had beenbon the road and was hot and tired, but apologized and thanked her. She made no effort to be friendly or even professionally kind. Seemed upset that we walked in to eat as the lights were low. We was planning on lobster rolls, though they were out, and so was going to try and use coupons only to be told they do not do the coupons. We waited as two drive thru orders came and went. Finally get the food for the chicken to be maybe a couple inches long. The fish had bits of burns pieces on it.
