At our Morristown, TN location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Great food and service
Drive thru does not listen or give condiments as requested, when I called to let manager know, I did not receive sauce as I requested, all she said was ok, we will let the cashier know. Smh.. was spoke to like they thought I was trying to get a free meal. Almost 17 dollars for my meal. Smh..I will not eat there again unless I go in. Shame on them.
1 of my favorite places to eat. Friendly employees and great food. Even though 1 side was wrong, I was told that I got free food because I was given 9 side that I ordered. 😀. On March 3rd, 2025, we ordered 4 fish, shrimp, and fries meals & the shrimp was left out of all 4 of them. They were orders to go, so always check your order before you leave.
