At our Posen, IL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Do ever go here. It's not the Captain D's you remember
Awful customer service order 2 piece fish and orka and when I received it the food was over cooked it probably was sitting under heat lamp and they just put it back in the hot oil to make sure they it looked fresh and I took it all back and old dude act like he couldn't understand English
I have been a consumer of Captain D’s for over 20 years. I’m not sure what changes have been made but the portions are absolutely pathetic now. It seems like the pieces of batters fish are HALF the size they used to be. For $15+, this is sad. I am definitely done with this franchise now.
4 pcs, catfish, dinner 1799. No drink not worth it!!! Very very very stingy on the fries!! You also have to ask for tartar sauce.They don't just give it to you.
