If I'm in Captain D's, it's for my Mom. She likes it so, I love it.
For a person who personally doesn't eat seafood, surprisingly their menu had a variety of non-seafood items, all of which tasted fantastic, were cooked perfectly, and had no cross-contamination, which I was expecting from a place that primarily serves seafood. The staff were very polite and family oriented; they made it feel like you were coming for a home-cooked meal, not eating out, very grandmotherly. The food is inexpensive, yet still tastes great. The facility definitely has earned and keeps its A raiting.
I've loved this place since I was a kid. Quite possibly my favorite value seafood meal.
