At our Lugoff, SC location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

My only complaint is portion size, you can tell they really try to make it small and the price is too high for that.
I'm order #0185 I came in to get dinner they were out of almost everything No Shrimp, Potato's and some other items. I went to fix my drink the sweet tea was watered down and the soda was flat.
I utilized the drive thru and while the order was taken promptly, as was the customer behind me, I sat at the window for 20 minutes before a 2nd employee took my money, and another 20 or so before I got my 2 fish and fry plates, after a 3rd employee asked if I had paid yet before procuring my food. Upon receiving said food I let the young gal at the window know that the red truck behind me left, so they might want to ask the next person in line what they ordered so as not to hand them the wrong thing.
