At our Florence, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I just want to take a minute and brag on the young man that was at the window last night, he was so polite and had a smile on his face the whole time, I know the atmosphere and I’m so impressed with him. After everything I said it was yes ma’am or no ma’am. All I have to say is great job young man. I believe his name is Ladrevon. Of course my food was great too! Nobody wants to do compliments anymore just complaints but this young man deserves some recognition!
It has been sometime since I've came to the D's for dinner. Probably 10 years or more. First I'll start with the D's crew, top notch!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!They handle there customers like no other!!my shock is the price! I got the 4 piece fish,coleslaw, fries... $11.39 plus drink $3.09 one would think drink would be included but it wasn't.Fish was great hot and fresh!!Fries were cold,coleslaw terrible, hushpuppies tolerable.
