At our Conyers, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I ordered a 2 piece fish meal with okra and cole slaw. I planned on eating the meal in the car on the way to the store. The fish was horrible. Very fishy taste. I threw 1/2 of the piece out of the window and then ate the sides. I decided to go back to the restaurant for a refund and the lady said that I ate most of the meal and couldn’t get a refund. I used to love Captain Ds. I really like the fried clams because they are always good. But today I ordered 4 pieces fish and it was a not like it was last year. The texture was off. So I opened up a piece of the fish and it’s nothing but mushed up substance. It doesn’t look like fish at all. Made me sick. That have went cheap and have some type of substitute for fish. Mystery meat. Never again
