At our Oneonta, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Food ! Was nasty!
Ordered lobster rolls very disappointing very little lobster on rolls and no lettuce, I called for 10 mins straight and no answer. Finally she answered and said they were out of lettuce but failed to tel me that. She was very rude. Visited on 8/4/25 at 2:31.
Friendly people, super good fish lunch.
Would not give. 1 if I didn’t have to!!! Paid over $60 for 3 deluxe seafood platters 2 cheese cakes and an order of jalapeño poppers and dint not get hush puppies on mine and my friend dint have but 1 on his! When I called the woman said well if you want I can give you 5 hush puppies tomorrow unless you want to come back, I politely said no thank you I just won’t do anymore business there!! She said well ok
