At our Talladega, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Awful customer service!! Started out in the drivethru and the person was very rude while taking my order and once I got the order I wasn't satisfied so I went inside and the cashier proceeded to go get the manager when she finally decided to come over to address me and just so happen the one that was displaying awful customer at the drivethru was the lady she came back with. We had previously spoken with the area mgr for the Talladega location. We elected to try the Talladega location again last night. At around 6pm, there were no customers inside. The drive thru got our order wrong AGAIN. My husband checked the order and asked for his money back. When he did, the employees inside "scrambled" to the back and he said the cook came and gave him his money back. I cannot believe this has happened to us 2 or more times at this location.
