At our Rockmart, GA location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I used to make it a point to go to THIS Captain Ds, mainly because it was one of the few locations left that had condiments readily available--and free!--at the self-serve area in the dining room. Well, NO LONGER!! I just went there today to discover, to my chagrin, that most of the condiments had been removed and were now available behind the counter. To make it worse, they are now as stingy as the other locations (especially the *Cartersville location*!), and to get more than 4 tartar sauces, you have to BUY them...!!!...o... read more
This particular Captain D’s is LEAGUES above any other around the area. We drive up here from Cartersville because the service is better, the restaurant is soooo much cleaner, and the quality of the food is on another level than any of the other Captain D’s restaurants. Thank you for always providing a great experience for me and my family!
When I got there I ordered my food. My food came out before I even got my condiments and drink fixed. The food was cooked to perfection and taste like it was cooked to order. The staff came out and even asked if I needed anything. Great food, and great service. Couldn’t ask for more.
