At our Hattiesburg, MS location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D's Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D's Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D's was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Very good experience. Better than average customer service which is rare nowadays.
Every time I’ve tried to order from here has been a bad experience typically, it’s just been the attitude of the workers but today was awful. I ordered my food well before I got to the store because. it always takes a while to get things ready when I got there. I told him that I had a mobile order and I told him the name, though staff at the window handed me out to go bag. I told her I had two plates and she only gave me one at this point the manager came to the window and asked what name I told her and she said it hadn’t co... read more
The night manager was very nice. Originally my food order was wrong. Instead of fixing it they canceled the whole order after waiting 15 and I had to repay again. The crew is not friendly at all they don’t even speak or say thank you.
Great food and great place to eat and I’m always greeted by the workers. There is a young boy who works the cash register and he is always very kind and makes sure I have everything I need
